We mixed incremental amounts of food coloring into our resin mix. While stirring in a cup, the mixture seemed to accept the coloring. We lined our mold with plastic wrap, allowing for variation within the texture the wrap projects onto the mold. After the mix into the mold and allowing it to set, the mix rejected the food coloring. The result was a systematic gradation of color and texture.
